Abroad
Terms
Last updated October 5, 2026
These terms cover the Abroad app and useabroad.com. By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to them.
The service
Abroad sells prepaid travel data eSIMs. A plan gives you a set amount of mobile data for a destination and a validity period. It is not a phone number, and it does not replace your primary SIM for calls and texts unless a plan says otherwise.
Your device
Your phone must be eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked. Coverage, speed, and hotspot support depend on the local network and the plan you buy. Check the plan details before you pay.
Plans and payment
Prices are shown before you pay, in the currency displayed at checkout. Most plans start when the eSIM first connects in the destination, unless the plan page says it starts at install. Unused data does not roll over after the plan ends.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, resell a plan as your own network, or interfere with the network. We can suspend an eSIM that is used for fraud or abuse.
Refunds
Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
Availability
Networks can be interrupted. We do not promise uninterrupted coverage in every place inside a destination. If we cannot deliver an eSIM you paid for, the Refund Policy applies.
