Why travelers choose a Australia eSIM
- Optus & Telstra partners: Visitor coverage across major Australian cities with 4G/5G where available.
- Cities and coast trips: Stay online from harbour walks to intercity flights and coastal drives on supported routes.
- Install before you fly: Most plans start on first Australian network connection — not at purchase.
- Hotspot for camper & laptop: Share data on supported Australia eSIM plans when café Wi‑Fi is unreliable.
Coverage in Australia
Abroad Australia eSIM plans target Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and other covered partner areas. The Outback and remote coasts follow local network reach — plan larger packs for navigation-heavy road trips.
Tips for using an eSIM in Australia
- 1Install your Australia eSIM over Wi‑Fi before departure.
- 2Enable data roaming on the Abroad line only.
- 3City weeks often need 5–10 GB; long road trips prefer larger or unlimited options in-app.
- 4Confirm an EID with *#06# on your phone.
